Disseminating Research into Math Classrooms Teacher Focus Groups
Who? Math Teachers grades 5-12
When? Summer 2026
We are currently recruiting a group of up to 10 teachers to help us brainstorm some ideas about HOW we can integrate and translate research from learning science into your classroom practices. One focus group will examine using perceptual cues to strengthen math understanding into your classroom practices. The second focus group will examine how technology and data can support your understanding of students' practices. Each group will meet 2 times on zoom and come to WPI for 3 days in the summer. Teachers will be compensated $1000 for their participation in the 5 sessions.
